Maximizing Potential: How SEO Agencies in Tulsa, OK Supercharge Your Business

In this article, we’ll cover the many ways an seo agency can elevate companies leading to better business results.

What is an SEO Company?

An SEO company is a business that provides search engine optimization services to other businesses. Search engine optimization is a form of marketing that involves making online content rank higher on search results. This improves the likelihood that the content will be seen. The improved visibility can lead to more sales and qualified leads.

What does an SEO company do?

Since search engine optimization has many components, there is a wide array of services offered by an SEO company. To sum it up, there are 3 main factors. These factors include on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and technical SEO. Now, all of this may seem very foreign and complex. However, let’s cover an overview of these types of SEO. We’ll stick to the direct impact it has on boosting business.
Firstly, we can talk about on-page SEO. Every impactful element on the pages of your website falls under on-page SEO. Much of this is related to the wording on your web pages. Perhaps, users are searching for terms related to a product or service offered by your business. Wouldn’t it be great if your website appears in those results? That’s where on-page seo helps. An SEO company conducts keyword research, creates content such as blogs and web copy, optimizes meta descriptions, and more. When done correctly, your website will rank higher on search engines.
Another job of an SEO company is to handle off-page SEO. Anything done outside of your website, which improves search rankings, is considered off-page SEO. Focusing on optimizing your website content is great. However, it isn’t the entire picture. Search engine algorithms also take into account external references to your site. In essence, your website should exist in isolation. An effective company does things like build backlinks, which link from other websites to yours. Also, a successful SEO business would leverage social media, podcasts, and more.
Lastly, let’s speak about technical SEO. Technical SEO involves backend work that leads to better rankings. Without proper technical SEO, search engines have no way to detect all of your on-page and off-page efforts. A business handling your SEO efforts should make sure your website is crawlable by search engines like Google. Improving the site structure and indexing helps achieve this. Upgrading the speed of your website impacts its position on search results too.
An effective SEO company is fully aware of these 3 elements and the best ways to use them to your business’s advantage. Every company is unique though. Not to mention, there are tons of different industries, regions, and demographics that come into play when planning SEO. Consequently, it is important to partner with an SEO company that delivers custom strategies for your business.

How Can an SEO Company Help Me?

Firstly, on-page SEO is all about optimizing your website’s content to make it more attractive to search engines and users alike. By doing keyword research and incorporating those relevant keywords into your website’s meta tags, headings, and content, you can increase your chances of ranking higher in search engine results. According to a study by Backlinko, pages with a higher word count tend to rank better in Google, and their Click-Through Rates (CTR) also improve. So, imagine you run a blog about healthy recipes, and you optimize your recipe pages with well-researched keywords and detailed content. Your blog would likely attract more organic traffic, and with a higher CTR, more people would click through to your recipes, potentially boosting your revenue through ad impressions or sponsored content.

Next up, we have off-page SEO, which is all about building your website’s authority and reputation through external sources like backlinks and social media. When reputable websites link back to your content, it signals search engines that your site is trustworthy and relevant. Let’s say you operate an online fashion store, and a popular fashion magazine features your store in one of its articles with a link to your website. This would not only bring direct referral traffic but also positively impact your search engine rankings. According to a survey by Moz, over 90% of SEO experts consider high-quality backlinks to be a critical ranking factor. So, by actively building relationships and getting mentioned by influencers and authoritative sources, your online store’s visibility could skyrocket, leading to more sales and increased brand recognition.

Lastly, let’s discuss technical SEO, which deals with the backend aspects of your website, such as site speed, mobile-friendliness, and structured data. Ensuring your website loads quickly and is optimized for various devices not only improves user experience but also pleases search engines. Google’s mobile-first indexing means mobile-friendliness is crucial for ranking well. According to a study by Think with Google, 53% of users abandon a website that takes longer than three seconds to load on mobile. Now, picture this: you run an online booking platform for adventure tours. By implementing technical SEO best practices, your website becomes faster, and it adapts seamlessly to mobile devices. As a result, potential customers can easily browse and book tours, leading to increased conversions and a significant reduction in bounce rates.

Remember, combining these three pillars of SEO can create a powerful synergy for your business, attracting more relevant traffic, enhancing your online reputation, and ultimately driving better results.

Is it Worthwhile?

According to Backlinko, the hourly cost of an SEO agency can range from $50 to $150 an hour. This may seem quite costly. However, SEO is one of the less expensive forms of marketing. A more indirect approach could be using paid advertising. If done correctly, paid advertising can generate great results. However, you must literally pay for these returns. According to TopDraw, Google Search Ads had an average cost per click of $2.32 in 2021. Furthermore, search engine optimization tends to be less abrasive. It meets consumers where they are. A disadvantage of paid advertising is that it is often interruptive. Users aren’t usually seeking the content that is being marketed to them. Due to this, your target audience is often less receptive to your efforts.
Owing to the fact that SEO services tend to cost less, SEO can lead to higher returns on investment. Lower operating costs widen the gap between what a business spends and its revenue. A 2021 report found that the 3-year average return on investment for search engine optimization was 748%. Meanwhile, the 3 year average ROI for SEM/ PPC was 36%. It should be noted that SEO generally takes more time to achieve success. However, as it is said, “Easy come, easy go”.

Fortunately, SEO tactics have long-lasting benefits. Unlike paid advertising, you don’t have to constantly spend money to gain new visits to your website. What an agency does today can help improve business for months and even years later. Let’s use the example of improving the speed of your website. Once this translates to higher rankings, all that is left is maintenance. The indirect approach tends to positively impact your company’s success for far longer.

Hey, my name is D.A Myers and I am the lead web developer and ad strategist here at Myers Marketing and I wanted to talk to you for a quick second about SEO companies uh what they are what do they do uh this hot topic of a word SEO uh what is what is it even. Are they just sitting at their computer hacking code and writing and all kinds of gibberish whenever they do this um for people that are in the know they know exactly what SEO is but for a lot of the people that aren’t in SEO daily it’s just kind of this big question mark. What’s behind the veil? And so while this video isn’t going to get into every single aspect I do want to give you a little bit of a brief overview. So SEO obviously when you look at the definition it is anything that you do to your website that improves the quantity and quality of people that are visiting your website and specifically the efforts in regards to search engines like Google. So anything that you’re doing on your website whether that’s on-page or off-page technical SEO. There are lots of different avenues that you can get into for SEO but search engine optimization we are optimizing for search engines and so when you go out and you hire an SEO company or an SEO agency, there are certain things that they’re going to do. Number one they’re going to do a whole lot of research right SEO is as individualized as the number of businesses that there are out there. You can have two different HVAC companies that take vastly different approaches to SEO because of what they are trying to rank for. What they are trying to show up in Google for. So, they’re going to start with a whole bunch of research. The second thing that they’re going to typically do is they’re going to start planning once they’ve done their research portion. Now, we’re going to get into the planning stage. We can’t just shoot from the hip here this has got to be something number one that’s long term but number two that we’re not duplicating our efforts that’s actually something called keyword cannibalism. If you try to rank for the same keyword in multiple different places on your website, you’re actually trying to rank against yourself which does not make a whole lot of sense if you’re trying to win one position. And everything is bringing that one down so there’s got to be a plan. It’s got to be built out. It is long-term. This is not something that you do for 30 days and all of a sudden you are you’re at the top of every single Google search that there is. There are ways that you can speed it up and and really focus in. There’s a lot of work that goes into it. Typically, SEO is a much longer game for your business and for your website. Beyond that, once they’ve got the plan in place, then they’re going to start execution and what this looks like can be vastly different depending on what existing stuff you have for your company on your website. If your website was built back in the 80s, they are typically going to rebuild it from the ground up. That’s going to be step one. And all of a sudden, you’re going to see your website pop up and it’s going to be completely different. SEO practices in the 80s and 90s and even the 2000s are vastly different than what they are today. And so they’re gonna look at your website. They’re going to make changes to it uh so they can be visual changes. Is your website loading faster? That’s a part of SEO. Are there some words that are bolded throughout the page? Why are they bolded? Well, that’s actually to help Google recognize that those are particular keywords on your page that you want people to focus on and Google actually recognizes those bold words. They bring that into the search engine results; same thing with your headers. They might change the wording just a little bit and they might have five different sizes of headers. Well, there’s a reason for that. There’s a reason that there’s an H1 which is the most important header of your entire page. Then, there’s an H2, but you might have multiple H2S throughout your page. And so on and so forth, all the way down to h5s. Anyways, the visual changes are something that you can see as a business owner on your website. You can see little tiny tweaks that are being made all of these are for the benefit of SEO and again all of them are incredibly strategized. If you just go into a website and go into a web page and start tweaking things because you think it looks better, there are companies out there that do that unfortunately. That has massive SEO repercussions; something that is not going to be good for your business. You will drop in rankings greatly especially if you’re getting someone to redo the design of your website without them focusing on SEO. This is one of the biggest things that we run into in our agency is that someone has had their website redone or they’re wanting their website redone and they don’t understand that if you change the code the underlying code of a website and don’t have SEO in mind you will drop in rankings. Also, you will get less visitors if you have it in mind and you continue over the existing SEO strategy and then start tweaking Google likes to see constant change not drastic change all at once. So, these are just some of the things I can go on for five hours just really focusing in on all of the different pieces but I wanted to give you kind of an idea of when you sign up with a company for SEO Services. I’m writing this check what are they even doing. They should be providing you with reports. You shouldn’t be getting a report that says, “Hey, here are the Search keywords that you actually rank for and that people clicked on and got onto your website.” If they are able to see, “Hey, these are all of the conversions that we got off of these particular keywords” – that’s going to be even better because you can actually see the dollar amount that is coming in based off of the work that they are doing as well. So, all of these different things from research, all the way to the reporting, these are things that your SEO company or agency should be doing and you should be checking in on. This is not an inactive process where you just sit back and let the Bucks roll in. This is an interactive and back-and-forth partnership between you and your SEO agency. and so yeah take a look at it, make sure that your SEO agency is doing great things if not, or if you don’t have one we’d love to work if we with you we’d love to partner with you and really get to know your business wherever that might be whether it’s here in Oklahoma or in a completely different state we’d love to just talk with you and talk SEO foreign
